Credit Unions were recognised for their commitment to communities and their members at the Chambers Ireland InBusiness Recognition Awards in Clontarf Castle Hotel last Thursday, coming away as the 2024 Brand of the Year for the recent ‘For You’ brand campaign. HSSCU is proud to be a part of this achievement through our work with the Irish League of Credit Unions.
With organisations from all industries present on the day, the ILCU was delighted to represent the sector at the event. Alice Grant, Head of Brand and Member Experience in the ILCU, who looked after the submission to the InBusiness Awards, was joined by ILCU Board Director Vanessa Foran, credit union representatives from the ILCU’s Marketing Forum, and members of the ILCU Brand and Member Experience Team.
Speaking with awards MC Anton Savage, Alice Grant, Head of Brand and Member Experience with the ILCU said, “Our job is to build the brand so that all consumers in Ireland understand why they should be a credit union member. With our credit union partners across the island of Ireland, we are on a journey to collectively unlock the power of the credit union brand highlighting how credit unions daily are helping communities sustain their way of life now, and for generations to come.“

To be recognised for that commitment and awarded Brand of the Year, across all industries and sectors, truly is testament to the work that is being done, on the ground, in each and every credit union across the island of Ireland.
